Theren are Smart TVs in the lounge and downstairs bedroom and Wifi available throughout.

The Cottage was build in the mid 19th century and was originally the Railway Keepers home as he would open the gates to allow the trains to pass.
The trains ran from Llanberis to Port Dinorwic carrying slate from the mountains to the port of loading onto ships for transportation to many parts of the world.
The railway line was closed in the 1960's and converted into cycle tracks which you can be seen across the road. The railway sleepers in the front garden are from the original line.

The Cottage in a beautiful part of North Wales and we hope you will have the oportunity to visit some of the many wonderful places including:-
Anglesey, Snowdonia and the Coastal Resorts

Y Felinheli is a small but friendly village. There is a Post Office and Spar shop for any essentials, a Chinese Takeaway and a couple of public houses.
For more extensive shopping, there is a Tesco store on the way to Bangor or alternatively a Morrisons supermarket just on the edge of Caernarfon.
Petrol is available from both.
